Graz Airport sells old devices that are no longer in use as part of an online auction.

In order to be able to ensure smooth processes in the handling of aircraft and passengers, in the area of ​​​​winter service and the fire brigade, devices that can be relied on are necessary - and that in any weather, any temperature. The use of old devices is therefore a technical risk factor from a certain point in time, as stated in a broadcast from the airport. For this reason, GRZ says goodbye to the decommissioned devices - these will be auctioned off for further use.

50 pieces of equipment, from the fire brigade rescue vehicle, to a catering vehicle, to small workshop parts such as a sandblasting machine or a welding machine, will be up for sale at the public auction. The auction will be carried out by Troostwijk Auctions. The items up for auction will be sold on April 29.04th. unlocked and can on 16.05. from 08:00 a.m. to 15:00 p.m. at the airport.

"An airport's vehicle fleet is part of its lifeline, it is one of the decisive factors for the punctual and smooth handling of flights," explains Wolfgang Grimus, Managing Director of Graz Airport, "It is therefore necessary to regularly upgrade in order to be technically up to date."
