Milan Airport to be renamed

Milan's Malpensa airport will in future be named after the late Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi. This was announced by Transport Minister Matteo Silvini.

Milan's Malpensa airport will in future bear the name of the late Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi. This was announced by Transport Minister Matteo Silvini following a decision by the Italian aviation authority Enca, according to the portal Aero.de. The Prime Minister, who died in June 2023, held the office of Prime Minister four times.
