Flughafen Wien AG expects to achieve sales of EUR 670 million this year. This previous forecast was raised by 30 million euros. The forecast profit should also be higher.

The listed company announced ad hoc on Wednesday that it expects a positive Ebitda of "at least around 290 million euros". This previous forecast was thus corrected upwards by 30 million euros. The annual result should be positive with "at least 100 million euros". Previously, it was expected to be around 80 million euros.

However, the Management Board of Flughafen Wien AG also points out that there are factors that can have a negative impact on the forecast. The company writes: “The adjusted values are based on the assumption that there will be no pandemic-related lockdowns or massive traffic restrictions in autumn and winter. The investments will be around €84 million. Another factor of uncertainty remains the further course of the war in Ukraine, which cannot be estimated today, and its consequences for air traffic".
