Since the passenger numbers at Vienna Airport speak for themselves, the expectations of the airport in question have been raised accordingly. The airport assumes that in 2023 more than 20 million passengers can be handled by Vienna Airport.

With the number of passengers and the general figures for flight operations, Vienna Airport can raise its expectations for 2023. Due to the rapid development, the airport expects a passenger volume of 28,5 million passengers. The airport has seen 26 million passengers for comparison in recent years, but this year it could be surpassed. The Flughafen Wien Group, which includes Vienna Airport as well as Malta Airport and Kosice Airport, is said to be able to count on 36,5 million passengers.

The Austrian central airport Vienna is also expected to improve in terms of sales, EBITDA and the result for the period: sales of around EUR 830 million are expected, while EBITDA is expected to be EUR 325 million. The profit for the period should amount to 150 million euros this year.
