On the evening of the Swiss national holiday, exceptionally, you will land on runway 14 or 16 from the north.
As in previous years, the evening restrictions on arrivals and departures through German airspace will be lifted on August 1 this year due to fireworks. According to the German regulation, from 21:00 p.m. you should land on runway 28 from the east. After consultation with the responsible German authorities, this regulation will be waived on the evening of the Swiss national holiday, as the airport announced in a broadcast. According to this, landings will take place from the north on runways 21 or 00 from 14:16 p.m. until the end of flight operations. Take-off will take place until 22:00 p.m. to the west and south, from 22:00 p.m. to the north. Short-term weather-related deviations are still possible at any time.
