In the past year, 22,6 million passengers flew through Zurich Airport.

After a first quarter, which was still shaped by the pandemic, passenger volume at Zurich Airport recovered significantly over the course of the year. The total number of passengers is still below the values ​​of 2019, but exceeds the forecasts made at the beginning of the year.

The number of flight movements was 2022 in 216.584, which corresponds to an increase of 63 percent compared to 2021. Compared to 2019, the number of flight movements is 79 percent. A total of 2022 tons of freight were handled at Zurich Airport in 422.153. Compared to the previous year, this represents an increase of 7 percent, compared to 2019 a decrease of 7 percent.
