As part of the general assembly held on Friday, the members of the Vienna Airport Friends Association elected a new board. Chairman Gernot Kastner and his deputy Claudia Winkler were confirmed in office.

The other positions in the club management were filled with new faces, who were unanimously elected: The new cashier is Priska Glatzer, who has been in office since January 1.1.2022st, XNUMX. Her deputy is Christian Martinek, who also has relevant industry experience and contacts.

The new secretary is Claudia Burghart. For the first time in the history of the association, the board consists of as many women as men. Her deputy is Thomas Price. Both have only been with the club for a short time. "I am pleased that we are always able to win new and committed members for the association and that some of them also take on responsibility right away," explains chairman Gernot Kastner.

In the coming year, in addition to the annual Sammer and Reiseinfo Day on May 14.5.2022, 15.9.2022, the new board will also have an additional major event. The association celebrates its 30th anniversary on September XNUMX, XNUMX with a big party at Vienna Airport. The year also has the motto "back to normal" in the hope of returning to club life, like before COVID with club evenings at Vienna Airport.
