The river cruise operator 1A Vista will in future only allow people who have been vaccinated or have recovered on board. In a transitional period, negative test results will also be accepted for inventory bookings.

A media release from the company indicates that new bookings only take those who have recovered and who have been vaccinated on board. Managing director Hagen Mesters explains, among other things, that one wants to offer passengers "a nice and carefree vacation" and "wants to contribute to the fact that many people get vaccinated". At the same time, the aim is to ensure that “we will very soon be living in a new normal that will bring us all back to carefree travel as we knew it”.
