The German shipping company A-Rosa, which specializes in river cruises, is relaxing the regulations for embarkation and behavior on board. For example, the mask requirement is no longer applicable with immediate effect.

The rapid antigen test that used to be the norm, which had to be completed in the course of boarding, is also a thing of the past. However, due to the entry regulations of numerous countries, one must continue to insist on the 2G rule for the time being. This applies to all travelers aged 12 and over.

The A-Rosa ships have been sailing on various rivers in Europe since March 2022. Previously, these were repeatedly paused for longer periods due to the corona pandemic. The shipping company also confirms that individual shore leave is possible. With various providers, this was not permitted at all or only permitted in the form of pre-booked packages.
