The newly founded airline Fly Armenia Airways presented its flight plan, which is to be carried out after the Armenian travel restrictions have been lifted. With Prague and Marseille there are also two destinations in the European Union on the routes. It could be very difficult to operate these in-house.

The background is according to the portal CH-Aviation.com the fact that the EU has the Armenian Aviation Authority on the so-called black list. As a result, all airlines from this state are not allowed to use EU airspace. This means that Fly Armenia Airways is not allowed to fly into the EU in-house. In order to still be able to implement the project, the carrier, which has AOC and OL, would have to seek a wet lease partner from the EU area.

Which aircraft Fly Armenia Airways actually wants to fly with is also a bit vague. Boeing 757, 737-300 and Airbus A319 are listed on the homepage. So far, however, no machine of this type has been registered on the company's AOC. Originally it was announced for the passenger flights 737.

The routes planned from Yerevan are:

  • Kaliningrad (twice a week)
  • Moscow-Vnukovo (daily)
  • Krasnodar (2x a week)
  • Rostov (twice a week)
  • Sochi (2x a week)
  • Marseille (twice a week)
  • Prague (3x a week)
  • Tel Aviv (twice a week)
  • Damascus (2x a week)
