The comeback of Fly Bosnia is getting closer: the company's owner, the Al Shiddi Group, confirmed that the airline had signed contracts for three Airbus A320 jets with a capacity of 180 passengers each.

The first plane is expected to arrive as early as this month, while the remaining two are expected in April next year, according to the aviation portal exuaviation reported. One of the three jets, registered under N419UA, is 26 years old and previously worked for United Airlines. The ailing Balkan carrier was hit particularly hard by the Corona crisis. In the summer even the only plane, an Airbus A319 plane, had to be returned. That is why the airline flew wet lease passengers from Sarajevo to Turkey in the midsummer months.
