Fly Erbil now flies with Getjet Airlines

The virtual airline Fly Erbil will no longer have its connections operated by Jonika Airlines, but by Getjet Airlines. The planes formally fly on behalf of UR Airlines, because the Fly Erbil offers are carried out under their flight numbers.

According to CH-Aviation.com, the cooperation between the three partners should run until at least May 30, 2021. The aircraft used is the Airbus A320-200 with the registration LY-ELK. The previously used UR-CSV is currently parked at Kiev-Schuljany Airport. It is currently unclear whether the cooperation with the Ukrainian carrier will be reactivated.

Fly Erbil announced a few weeks ago the expansion towards Germany. From Cologne / Bonn the destinations Erbil and Sulaimaniyya are to be offered. UR Airlines also flies for Fly Erbil itself, but due to restrictions in the direction of the European Union, wet-lease aircraft are mostly used.
