The house brand of Bern-Belp Airport, FlyBair, is scheduled to take off for the first time in the direction of Palma de Mallorca on July 18, 2020. The flights are carried out by Helvetic Airways. Initially, the Mediterranean island will be served from Sion and Bern.

“Everyone behind the project, my team and I have been eagerly looking forward to the maiden flight for months. It's the result of hard work. Now we can even celebrate in two Swiss regions - in German and French ”, says José González, CEO of FlyBair.

Due to the corona pandemic, the launch date had to be postponed. In coordination with the tour operators, the flight plan has now also been adapted. From mid-August, Crete and Rhodes and from September 2020 Jerez, Kos Menorca and Preveza will be served from Bern. Olbia, on the other hand, is no longer in the program.
