The Argentine low-cost airline Flybondi has received permission from the civil aviation authority ANAC to provide ground handling services for other airlines.

Flybondi already operates its own ground handling services at 80% of the airports it uses, including Córdoba, but excluding airports such as Buenos Aires Jorge Newbery, Ushuaia and El Calafate. According to CEO Mauricio Sana, this is an important step for the growth of the aviation industry in Argentina. The decision builds on a reform passed in 2019 by the then Macri government, which abolished the handling monopoly of the state-owned Intercargo.
