FlyBosnia's only aircraft is now being scrapped. The E7-FBA, a 17-year-old Airbus A319, is returned to the lessor and then scrapping awaits the medium-haul jet. The carrier itself wants to have all flights carried out by other airlines in the future, reports Ex-Yu Aviation.
In this context, FlyBosnia is reducing its staff again. An Airbus A320 operated by GetJet Airlines is currently in use on the scheduled routes. There was also a change at the top of the young airline: Haris Čoloman was promoted to Chief Executive Officer. His predecessor left the company.
In the future, FlyBosnia wants to focus more on charter connections and has plans to and from Italy, Egypt, Tunisia and Turkey. The company's own scheduled flights, including to Kuwait City, are currently only operated to a very limited extent.
