The low-cost airline Flynas has announced that it will fly three times a week between Jeddah and Berlin from September 4, 2024. A competitor will be added to the 2024/25 winter flight schedule, as Eurowings also wants to operate this route.

The Flynas connection to Jeddah is flown by Flynas every Monday, Wednesday and Sunday. The outbound flight leaves BER at 9:05 a.m. and lands in Jeddah at 17:10 p.m. The return flight leaves Saudi Arabia at 4:00 a.m. arriving at BER at 8:15 a.m. The flight time is a good six hours. The aircraft used is the Airbus A320neo medium-haul jet.

“The new connection to Jeddah will add an attractive destination to our long-haul portfolio. This increases connectivity and strengthens BER as an airport location. At the same time, it is good for the capital region because the connection is interesting for business travelers and tourists from Saudi Arabia. We are looking forward to the first flight in September,” explains BER boss Aletta von Massenbach.
