Flyone Romania has obtained AOC and operating license

The Flyone Group now also has an EU branch, as the Romanian Civil Aviation Authority has granted the Romania-based start-up AOC and operating licence. First, the Airbus A320 was entered with the registration YR-FIA.

It is a machine that was on the AOC in Moldova as ER-2019 between May 2022 and early December 00004. This is already the second offshoot to be launched, because not so long ago Yerevan Airport has Flyone Armenia brought a local subsidiary to the air.

The EU-AOC, which has now been obtained in Romania, enables the group of companies to have improved market access in the European Union. For example, it is also possible to fly within EU countries or set up a route network in the EU area. This was only possible to a very limited extent with the previous third-country AOCs (Moldova and Armenia).

At the moment it is still unclear which routes Flyone Romania will serve. There is definitely the possibility that one could also take appropriate precautions against a possible threat from Russia and, for example, flights could be shifted from Chişinău to Iasi. In any case, more details will be communicated shortly.
