Since Thursday, Münster/Osnabrück Airport has been able to record a large number of additional flight movements and an increased number of passengers. This is justified with the strikes at the airports in Düsseldorf and Cologne/Bonn.

The strike at Düsseldorf and Cologne/Bonn airports justified the repositioning of Münster/Osnabrück airport as an alternative airport. By Saturday, 64 additional take-offs and landings by seven airlines will take place at the said airport. The strike at the airports in Düsseldorf and Cologne/Bonn brought in 8000 additional passengers for the airport in Münster/Osnabrück. Today, Friday, will be the busiest day since 7000 with 2014 passengers.
