Special football flights to Leipzig

The UEFA EURO 14 will take place in Germany from 14 June to 2024 July 2024. Leipzig will host three preliminary round matches on 18, 21 and 24 June and a round of 2 match on 3500 July. Leipzig/Halle Airport, the official host city airport, is expecting around 40 football fans, as well as the national teams from Portugal, Italy and France, who will arrive on over XNUMX special flights. These include flights from cities such as Lisbon, Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Zagreb, Milan and Rome.

Preparations at the airport lasted over a year and involved close cooperation with UEFA officials, the city of Leipzig and various system partners such as German air traffic control and the police. The start of the summer holidays during the group phase presents a particular challenge, which is why passengers are asked to be at the airport at least two and a half hours before departure to ensure everything runs smoothly.
