The Greek Star Alliance member Aegean Airlines has also been present in Bremen since last Sunday on behalf of the tour operator Tui Germany. It operates a charter route to the island of Creata.

This is served once a week, complementing the Sundair flights, which are offered three times a week. According to airport director Marc Cezanne, there are now four weekly rotations served by two carriers.

“We are very pleased that we, as the market leader in Greece, have succeeded in establishing Aegean Airlines from Bremen as well. The first departures are fully booked, which is not a matter of course in a first season and makes us very optimistic until November 5.11th. to be able to take off in a stable manner," says Sven Winterstein, Head of Flight Purchasing at Tui Germany. The Aegean charter flights will be operated on Sundays until November 5, 2023.
