The young airline Aeroitalia will start scheduled flight operations from the Forli base on July 9, 2022. The first flights will go to Brindisi, Catania and Lamezia Terme. In the medium term, long-haul flights are also planned from this airport.

Aeroitalia recently announced that it wants to build a short- and medium-haul network first. This should subsequently also be used as a feeder for the planned long haul operation to serve. Initially, short-haul flights will be launched with Boeing 737-800, with the vast majority of destinations being domestic. Internationally, you want to head for the Maltese Luqa Airport first.

The young carrier has started selling tickets via its own website and the usual booking channels. Initially, nine destinations are to be offered from Forli. Brindisi will be served four times a week from July 9, 2022. Seasonally, it goes to Catania three times a week until October 8, 2022. Lamezia Terme will be served twice a week.

From July 10, 2022, four round trips per week to Naples will be offered. Olbia will be served four times a week until October 2nd, 2022. Luqa (Malta) will be served three times a week from July 11, 2022. Trapani will be served twice a week between July 12, 2022 and October 4, 2022.

Aeroitalia wants to serve Lampedusa and Alghero seasonally from Forli. The destination on the island of Sardinia is scheduled twice a week in the period from July 14, 2022 to September 15, 2022. It should go to Lampedusa until September 18, 2022 with the same frequency.
