Last week the meeting of the so-called Arraiolos Group took place in Malta. It is an informal meeting of heads of state from 15 EU countries. The name of the meeting is derived from the Portuguese city of Arraiolos, as the meeting took place there for the first time in 2003.

Originally, only six Presidents attended this event. 15 heads of state from EU countries are now represented. In 2023, the Arraiolos Group will celebrate its twentieth anniversary. On the occasion of the Arraiolos meeting, which took place in Malta on October 6, 2022, the island was visited by a number of interesting aircraft.
