At Frankfurt Airport, passengers will probably have to do without the Hochbahn Skyline until the end of March. The transport system, which actually runs between Terminals 1 and 2, is expected to be maintained until March 20th and is therefore at a standstill. A shuttle bus runs as a replacement.

As Frankfurt Airport announces on its website, construction work on the skyline will take place from January 31 to March 30, 2022, which is why service will have to be suspended during this time. Transfer passengers in the non-Schengen transit area can instead use a replacement bus service between Halls B, E and Z. Additional staff will be available to help passengers if necessary. Travelers who transfer in the public area between Terminals 1 and 2 can continue to use the regular bus shuttle. It runs every 15 to 1 minutes at all times of the day and night. The easily recognizable yellow buses are free of charge and stop at the long-distance train station, in front of Terminals 2 and 36 and at the PXNUMX bus parking lot for long-distance buses.
