If you want to travel to France, you now have to show a negative PCR test. This now also applies to all passengers who want to enter from member states of the European Union. This must not be older than 72 hours.
With this, France is extending the “obligation to test”, because for some time now, passengers who want to travel from non-EU countries have had to present a negative PCR test result. Now it also affects everyone who wants to come to France from the EU area, regardless of the current length in the country of origin. This is intended to further limit “unnecessary travel”.
Austria and Germany currently regard France as a “risk area”. As a result, a quarantine blooms when you return, unless you fall under one of the many exceptions. How long the measures will last cannot be foreseen at the moment.
