For 81 young people between the ages of 16 and 28, today is the starting signal for their professional life in the Fraport Group. This year, 66 male and 15 female trainees will start an apprenticeship or a dual course of study with the operator of Germany's largest airport.

Despite the massive economic impact, Fraport stuck to vocational training even during the corona pandemic. “The past few months have shown that we were right: not only has the number of passengers increased again, but also the number of applications for an apprenticeship in our company. We are pleased that we can continue to offer young people in the Rhine-Main region attractive future prospects. We continue to invest in the development of our junior staff, because we will continue to need qualified specialists in the future. For the next year we have around 100 apprenticeship positions to be filled," says Michael Müller, Labor Director at Fraport AG.
