A new attraction will open at Frankfurt Airport from August 2nd: The multimedia Fraport visitor center in Terminal 1, Hall C welcomes guests in time for the holiday season.

On 1.200 square meters of exhibition space, almost 30 exhibits will give a glimpse behind the scenes of the airport and flying. Visitors not only experience ongoing airport operations. It is also possible to look back at the history, insights into the technology involved in flight operations and outlooks into the future of air traffic.

After two years of construction and construction costs of around 5,7 million euros, Fraport completed the exhibition space in autumn 2020. “Due to the pandemic, we had to postpone the opening several times. So I'm all the more pleased to be able to present our guests with a new destination. The fascination of the airport is a top priority here, ”says Anke Giesen, Board Member for Retail and Real Estate at Fraport AG.

The Fraport Visitor Center is open daily from 11 a.m. to 19 p.m. The entrance fee for adults is 12 euros. Reduced persons pay 10 euros on presentation of the corresponding ID. Children under four are free of charge.
