On Friday, November 12th, 2021, travelers to Italy should expect delays and cancellations. The unions are again calling for a stoppage of work in the transport sector. This time the focus will be on the two airports in Rome.

In the period from 10:00 a.m. to 14:00 p.m., staff at Ciampino and Fiumicino Airports are called to take a stoppage of work. In the meantime, longer waiting times, cancellations and delays can be expected. There can also be after-effects.

There will also be strikes in local public transport. The region of Umbria and the city of Naples are primarily affected. The work stoppages are announced for up to 24 hours, depending on the transport company. On November 26, 2021, the aviation sector is expected to strike again. This time, the Milan airports and Ancona are affected for 24 hours.
