Georgia: New airline to fly for the first time next year

Next year the creation of a new airline in Georgia is to be brought about: the airline, to be called Air Iveria, plans to debut in aviation in 2024. The flights of the new airline are to be managed using an Airbus fleet.

Air Iveria, the name of Georgia's new airline, which plans to start operations in 2024, plans to use Airbus aircraft for its flights. With its base in Tbilisi, the airline is pursuing the goal of showing travel enthusiasts from all over the world the sides of Georgia. In addition, the starting point Tbilisi is to be converted into a hub between Asia, the Middle East and Europe. The people involved who are said to be behind the Air Iveria project are Tengiz Tkeshelashvili and Irakli Giorgobian. The fleet is initially to be staffed by three to four leased planes, with an investment of 20 million euros to achieve this goal.
