From November 9, 2020, the Federal Republic of Germany will again consider all of Turkey to be a risk area and has announced a corresponding travel warning. At the beginning of August, some bathing regions were exempted under considerable pressure from Turkey. That’s over now.

The Mediterranean state came under considerable criticism because the number of cases was allegedly kept artificially low. Only those positives who showed clear symptoms were reported. Asymptomatic cases have not been reported internationally. As a result, the number of infected people in the statistics was kept low. This enabled the Germans' system - 50 to 100.000, which was already questionable - to be tricked. Not anymore.
