The private railway operator Flixtrain announces the addition of three new routes. These are Stuttgart-Hamburg, Berlin-Wiesbaden and Berlin-Basel. For the first time you can drive it outside of Germany.

The Hamburg route is scheduled to start on May 19, 2022 and will have intermediate stops in Heidelberg, Frankfurt am Main, Kassel and Hanover. From June 2, 2022, there will be trains from Berlin to Wiesbaden with stops in Braunschweig, Hildesheim and Offenburg. About three weeks later you drive from the German capital via Karlsruhe, Baden-Baden and Freiburg to Basel in Switzerland.

At the beginning of June 2022, Flixtrain wants to increase the number of trains on the existing Hamburg-Cologne-Munich and Hamburg-Berlin-Leipzig routes. Only recently it became known that companies are considering a possible inclusion of a railway connection between Stuttgart and Vienna has applied for corresponding train paths. According to its own statements, Flixtrain currently has 70 stations in its route network.
