The Lithuanian charter airline is expanding its fleet with a Boeing 737-800 with an economy class cabin (189 seats). The aircraft, registered LY-UNO, is the only Boeing 737 of its type operated by an airline in the Baltic countries.

In addition, Getjet Airlines has secured four more Boeing 737-800 aircraft, with two aircraft due for delivery this summer. The other two planes are to follow by the end of the year.

“We have historically incorporated Boeing aircraft into our fleet strategy, having operated our first-ever commercial flight on a 2016 Classic in 737. We are convinced that this type of aircraft will best serve our ACMI customers worldwide. In this way, our customers will benefit from the surge in summer demand and beyond,” said Rūta Kulvinskaitė, CEO of Getjet Airlines.

Getjet Airlines is a Lithuanian airline offering ACMI and charter services since 2016. The company provides wet lease and charter services to airlines and tour operators worldwide, including Wizz Air, Corendon Airlines, Norwegian, LOT, Finnair, Spice Jet and others.
