Graz Airport and Planai-Hochwurzen-Bahnen are continuing their five-year cooperation and extending it for a further five years.

The aim of the collaboration is to increase guest numbers and brand awareness on both sides through targeted advertising measures. As part of the partnership, the gondola will remain present in the airport terminal as a symbol of the Schladming-Dachstein region. In return, the Skygate in Schladming will continue to bear the Graz Airport logo.

Georg Bliem, Managing Director of Planai-Hochwurzen-Bahnen, emphasises the advantages of the cooperation for both partners: while Schladming-Dachstein is consolidated as a top destination, Graz Airport benefits from the international attention generated by advertising in the region. Wolfgang Grimus and Jürgen Löschnig, Managing Directors of Graz Airport, emphasise the synergy effects that arise from cooperation at various levels and see this as valuable support for the international positioning of the airport.
