The startup Green Airlines is postponing its first charter flight for the second time at extremely short notice. Now they don't want to start until February 1st, 2021. Previously, it was postponed from November 1, 2020 to December 1, 2020 and caused a little amusement in the course of the BER opening, as the flights operated by Chalair were shown as deleted on the display board.

Green Airlines is not an airline because you do not have the necessary AOC and OL documents. The company wants to charter 19-seater Beech 1900D from the French Chalair and market the seats for its own account. At the same time, the planned flights between Karlsruhe / Baden-Baden and Berlin-Brandenburg are being marketed as particularly "green". However, the unit costs for this type of machine are extremely high.

The company, which has the legal form of an entrepreneurial company (limited liability), has not yet carried out a single announced flight, but has announced the stationing of a second aircraft, also operated by Chalair, in Paderborn. From there they want to offer charter flights to Westerland and Zurich.
