Shortly before the start of the main season, Greece is putting an announcement into practice: From now on, findings from rapid antigen tests will also be accepted for entry. The prerequisite is that these are not older than 48 hours. Alternatively, PCR, vaccination or recovery certificates can be presented.

However, it is particularly important for holidaymakers that the online registration is carried out. This is still mandatory. Airlines are instructed to check whether the QR code is available on paper or on the smartphone and, if disregarded, to refuse transport. If one should "switch through" anyway, hefty fines can flourish in Greece.
