Martin Roll becomes the new managing director at Hanover Airport. The Supervisory Board of Flughafen Hannover-Langenhagen GmbH decided unanimously in its 276th meeting.
The 50-year-old is expected to start work as commercial director in the next few months, the exact time will still be determined, the airport announced on Thursday. The contract has a term of four years. “I am very pleased to be actively helping to shape the future of Hanover Airport. For me, air traffic is both a challenge and a matter close to my heart, ”said Roll.
In the future, a dual leadership of two managing directors will manage the airport. The position of technical and operational manager should be filled next year. The previous sole managing director, Raoul Hille, will retire at the end of 2022 after 18 years, as planned for the long term.
