The German shipping company Aida Cruises will soon put its newest ship, the Aidacosma, into service. On April 9, 2022, the cruiser is to be christened in Hamburg by the athlete Kristina Vogel. At the godmother's side is the Austrian captain Vincent Cofalka.

According to the company, the ship is powered by LNG liquefied gas and is the second unit in the fleet to be so equipped. Aida wants to make the christening of the newcomer quite spectacular: 300 glowing drones and modern beam lights make Aidacosma sparkle. The culmination of the 20-minute production of light and color, which will be broadcast online for fans from 21:30 p.m. on www.aida.de/baptism and the Aida YouTube channel, is the baptism ceremony. For the musical accompaniment, the cruise company brings the DJ ALL COLORS on board. With two billion streams, 32 diamond, platinum and gold awards from Europe to Asia, as well as multiple chart positions and number 1 hits, the Berlin superstar is one of the most successful national acts when it comes to house music. Every summer, the 36-year-old inspires countless festival fans all over Europe who love to dance and party.

The cruise ship is scheduled to set sail for the first time on April 9, 2022 and complete a voyage lasting until April 23, 2022. First, they will do a lap of honor in front of Hamburg's Elbphilharmonie. The Aidacosma then sets course for Mallorca. During the two-week trip over the Easter holidays, guests will have ample opportunity to discover the new ship and enjoy an onboard program full of highlights. Southern England, Lisbon, Málaga and Barcelona, among others, invite to discovery tours on land.
