With the Boeing 737-800 chartered by Enter Air, the startup Tel Aviv Air wants to establish a non-stop connection between Hamburg and the Israeli Mediterranean metropolis. The first flight is scheduled to take place on September 19, 2021.

The tickets are now available for purchase at a price of 149 euros each way. Tel Aviv Air is - contrary to what the name would suggest - not an airline, but a company that charter aircraft and markets the seats for its own account.

“With the route from Hamburg to Tel Aviv, we are taking on an old destination that has proven itself in the past. We are pleased to be able to rebuild this route together with Tel Aviv Air, ”says Dirk Behrens, Head of Aviation at Hamburg Airport. "We are certain that we will be able to build on the success of the past and establish Tel Aviv again as a popular destination in the Hamburg route network."

Behind Tel Aviv Air are the Hamburg travel agency owner Shlomo Almago and Paul Scodellaro, former head of sales for the Germania airline. Paul Scodellaro had already successfully set up the route to Tel Aviv for Germania at that time.

“We are very pleased to be able to connect Hamburg non-stop with Tel Aviv again from September. Tel Aviv is a very attractive destination for business travelers, tourists and customers visiting family or friends. Hamburg Airport has been very supportive to us right from the start, ”says Paul Scodellaro, managing partner of Tel Aviv Air.
