The consumer protection authority of the Balearic Islands has opened official proceedings against the low-cost airline Ryanair. The subject of the investigation is the regulation for hand luggage that has been in force since November 1, 2018. The carrier only allows you to take a small bag with you free of charge, which must not be larger than 40x20x25 centimeters.

FACUA, a Spanish consumer protection organization, brought numerous complaints to various authorities. According to their own statements, only the Balearic Islands have reacted so far.
