The German airline Tuifly has reactivated Cape Verde flights from its home base in Hanover. A Boeing 737 flies to Boa Vista and Sal once a week.

Due to the tough entry and quarantine regulations, the flights between Germany and the Cape Verde Islands were idle for a particularly long time. Tuifly now flies to the archipelago in the Atlantic on Tuesdays. The first flight was already carried out as X3 6124 and, according to Hanover Airport, was fully booked.

“With the long-awaited first flight to Boa Vista and Sal, we are returning to an important year-round destination that we will be heading to every week from our home airport in Hanover. Just in time for the autumn holidays, Cape Verde is an exotic addition to our extensive Spain and Greece program. Travelers can expect not only the best relaxation in first-class TUI brand hotels, but thanks to 350 days of sunshine a year, they are also almost guaranteed sunshine for their holidays, ”says Oliver Lackmann , Managing Director of Tuifly GmbH.
