The British airline Virgin Atlantic intends to further expand its long-haul offering in the 2024 summer flight schedule. For example, there will be more flights to Miami and New York-JFK from London Heathrow.
From Manchester, the carrier will offer seasonal non-stop flights to Las Vegas. According to their own information, there are more New York flights from Heathrow than ever before. This is also related to a partnership that we have with Delta Air Lines. In the 2024 summer flight schedule, the two carriers want to jointly offer up to ten daily flights between the two metropolises.
Virgin Atlantic's newest aircraft are used on this route. These are the A330-900neo and the A350-1000, which increase the number of seats in Upper and Premium Class by 23 percent. Upper class travelers also have two suites available on board the A330neo.
The expanded schedule includes a total of 27 daily departures from London Heathrow to various popular US destinations. This expansion not only strengthens connections within the US, but also provides opportunities for global connections via London Heathrow to destinations such as Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai, Johannesburg and Shanghai in partnership with Delta Air Lines.
