The airline Helvetic Airways has expanded its management board with effect from January 16, 2023. Since then, the company has been managed by a CEO, a COO Flight Operations and the new COO Part 145 (Maintenance).
Nicolas Bachmann was newly appointed COO Flight Operations. The previous COO Simon Schatzmann takes over a staff position in the area of business development. The position of Chief Executive Officer will continue to be held by Tobias Pogorevc.
Nicolas Bachmann, who now acts as COO Flight Operations, has been with Helvetic Airways for 16 years. Among other things, he was active as Commander or through his various functions such as most recently as Nominated Person Training and Deputy ACM Flight Operations. The previous incumbent, Simon Schatzmann, is now active in the area of business development.
The third member of the Executive Board is René Mamet, COO Part 145. After more than 20 years in aircraft maintenance at various companies in Germany and abroad, René Mamet joined Helvetic Airways in mid-2020 and took over the overall management of maintenance in the regional airline's own hangar.
“I am convinced that Nicolas Bachmann and René Mamet will recognize and master the challenges ahead in good time. I wish them lots of fun and success in their new job,” says Helvetic boss Tobias Pogorevc.
