The menus are served to all passengers with departure or destination airports Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg and Bern-Belp and are part of Helvetic's all-inclusive offer.
The airline has adjusted the on-board catering for its summer flight schedule from both Swiss airports. From now on, the regional airline relies on menu boxes in the Swiss national colors of red and white. “The aim is to get our guests in the culinary mood for their vacation or their journey home to Switzerland. Our range of menus and drinks reflects our Swiss values, but also the quality and care with which they are selected, ”says Franz Lindauer, responsible for Product & Inflight experience at Helvetic Airways.
From the new EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg base, travelers to Larnaca or Santorini will be served a typical Swiss breakfast with omelette on the first flight of the day. For the return flight, passengers can expect a traditional sliced veal with hash browns. On the flights to or from Jerez de la Frontera, Helvetic offers its guests a Spanish-inspired, richly garnished sandwich. For passengers departing from Bern-Belp Airport, on the other hand, there is a colorful Greek salad with moussaka on the menu.
