In the midst of these stormy times of crisis, there is also something to celebrate at Embraer: The aircraft manufacturer is delivering an e-jet for the 1600th time. It is an E190-E2. The recipient of the milestone machine is the Swiss airline Helvetic Airways.

“I am honored to deliver this landmark aircraft in my new role as President and CEO of Embraer Commercial Aviation. It represents an important milestone in the E-Jet program, but also in the company's history. Over the years I have grown very fond of Helvetic Airways with their e-jet fleet project. All Embraer employees are incredibly proud that such a well-known airline is taking over our 1600th aircraft, ”says Arjan Meijer.
