The Scandinavian airline SAS is to be managed by Anko van der Werff from July 2021. He replaces Rickard Gustafson, who is stepping down from his post. The new CEO is currently still working for the Colombian SAS.

Local media reported a few days ago that, among other things, Austrian Airlines boss Alexis von Hoensbroech is on the shortlist. The AUA did not want to comment on this. Obviously, Anko van der Werff has now made the race for the SAS executive chair. It is not known whether von Hoensbroech actually had ambitions to leave the Lufthansa subsidiary.
