The operator of travel booking and hotel review portals is also entering the rental car business with immediate effect.

Holiday Check would like to benefit from the high demand for rental cars and is integrating the subsidiary Driveboo into its own platform. According to the company, a further step towards “comprehensive holiday offers from a single source” will be taken under the “AutovermietungCheck” brand. 

"With us, holidaymakers can be sure that they are only dealing with trustworthy and reputable providers when booking," explains Erik Weenink, Managing Director of Driveboo. Based on customer experiences and reviews, but also conversations with providers, Holiday Check checks dubious practices by landlords on site. If these allegations are confirmed, the provider will be removed from the portfolio immediately. "As far as this is concerned, we have a very clear zero tolerance policy."
