The four-star Hotel Schlosspark Mauerbach near Vienna has included free testing in its range of services.

As early as May 2020, the resort in the Vienna Woods was the first hotel in Austria to start testing the entire hotel crew regularly at their own expense. Schlosspark Mauerbach is now taking the next step: every seminar and business guest, partner, supplier and member of the team can use the new test road free of charge, which was set up together with the Red Cross.

According to the company, the result appears on the mobile phone after 15 minutes. The antigen tests then also apply to entry into body-hugging services. The hotel management is clearly positioning itself in the direction of security: Without a test, no more access immediately. "Thus every seminar or business guest, but also every employee, has the security that only people who have currently tested negative are in the house."

“Our way through this crisis was always very clear. The safety and health of the team and guests come first. We have to accept the situation, deal aggressively with the pandemic, live with it. That is why we invest in measures that not only have a short-term and selective effect, but also enable sustainable, safe travel and the holding of seminars and conferences. The model of the free test road in the business sector will then also be established for recreational guests ”, says hotel director Philip Jansohn.

When will it be tested?

Mondays from 9.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. and Tuesday to Friday from 8.00 a.m. to 9.00 a.m.
