In cooperation with a large laboratory, the IAG subsidiary Iberia now offers PCR and antibody tests. These can be reserved by phone and / or online. According to the airline, prices should be 20 percent below market costs. The so-called “standard PCR test” costs 98 euros, for example.

However, rapid antigen tests are also offered, with which the result should be determined within an hour. For this, 50 euros are due. The prices for the PCR tests are primarily dependent on the speed at which you want the result. In the slowest process, it costs 98 euros, but 130 euros on weekends and public holidays. However, if you need the report within a maximum of 24 hours, you have to put an impressive 180 euros on the table. With the “standard test”, the result is available within 72 hours, which is, however, too late for many destinations. For example, in Germany the report may not be older than 48 hours.
