The IAG group member Iberia is offering particularly cheap flight tickets until September 20, 2020. The travel period extends until June 30, 2020. Both the destination and the date can be changed without a change fee. However, any tariff difference can be offset.

The prices currently offered by Iberia are strongly reminiscent of low cost, because one-way sales within Spain start at 22 euros. You can get to Portugal from 25 euros, Spain and Italy from 35 euros each way, the USA from 99 euros one way and Mexico and Puerto Rico from 250 euros one way. Islanders who have a corresponding residence card will also receive the usual discount.

The Spanish airline declares that bookings made by September 20, 2020 can be rebooked free of charge. However, the tariff difference may apply. However, the offer has a big catch, which in the current situation is not exactly customer-friendly for travelers: The charging of rebooking fees is only waived if the change is made at least 15 days before the planned departure. So if you are surprised by new entry restrictions a few days before departure, you can look through the tube with this special offer from Iberia. The cheap prices seem to be more of a short term income to these.
