The airline Icelandair is relocating the Greenland flights previously offered from Reykjavik (RKV) to the larger Keflavik Airport. The Ilulissat and Nuuk destinations are among those affected.

Reykjavik Airport is used almost exclusively for domestic traffic. Flights to Greenland are also offered from this airport. As a follow-up to the merger of Air Iceland Connect and Icelandair, destinations Ilulissat, Kulusuk, Narsarsuaq, Nerlerit Inaat and Nuuk will be relocated to the larger Keflavik Airport. The aim is to be able to offer passengers improved transfers. So far, a change of airport was usually necessary.
