Gulf carrier Emirates Airline plans to offer high-speed wireless internet in 50 Airbus A350s from next year. It uses Inmarsat's Global Xpress (GX) satellite network. According to your own information, you are a first-time customer.

Emirates has also improved connectivity for Skywards members. This includes complimentary internet access throughout the flight for all Skywards Gold or Silver members traveling in Business or First Class, and for Platinum members traveling in any cabin class.

The GX network currently consists of five Ka-band satellites and plans to expand with seven additional satellite payloads. Three more satellites will follow to add speed, capacity and resiliency, and two to enable the world's only commercial mobile broadband service for aircraft flying at higher altitudes and over the Arctic.
